The Head of the Ufa Administration Sergei Grekov proposed to host the tournament. Today he also played with Tamara Tansykkuzhina.

In addition, the famous drafts players of Bashkortostan acted as seancers in the event.

The participants who played in a draw with the masters, or beat them, were awarded medals and valuable prizes from the organizers - the Administration of Ufa and the regional branch of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the All-Russian public organization «The draughts Federation of Russia».
