Sergey Grekov handed over keys to apartments to orphans

On June 1, on the International Children's Day, the head of the Ufa Administration Sergey Grekov handed the orphans keys to new one-room apartments in the Zaton microdistrict at the address: st. Gazi Zagitova, 9/1. 33 people receive their own living space.

«Today you receive the keys to your own house. I congratulate you on this significant event. May there always be warmth, comfort, joy and happiness in your house, » - said Sergey Grekov.

Then he examined the apartments and talked with the new settlers. It should be noted that the apartments were handed over ready-made - with fine finishing and plumbing.

According to Zilya Mukhametova, Head of the Department for Housing Distribution and Housing Programs of the Ufa City Administration, with the support of the state and the republic, one-room apartments are purchased annually by orphans through participation in shared construction within the allocated budgetary funds to provide housing for orphans:

«In the first quarter of this year, we provided 107 apartments for orphans for the allocated funds in 2019. In 2020, municipal contracts were concluded for the purchase of 113 apartments. Of these, 33 apartments are being awarded today. We expect the transfer of the remaining 80 apartments at the end of this year.»
