During the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF® two world records set in Ufa

Today July 4, 2021, as part of the celebration of the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF® in Ufa, two world records were set at once for the number of participants and nationalities in one round dance.

Today, July 4, 2021, as part of the celebration of the VI World Folkloriad CIOFF® in Ufa, two world records were set at once for the number of participants and nationalities in one round dance.

Representatives of 57 countries - more than 2700 people - took part in the circle dance of peoples of the world friendship, which took place in the amphitheater behind the Toratau Congress Hall. The editor-in-chief and founder of the Russian Book of Records, Stanislav Konenko announced it from the stage.

In addition, the round dance brought together the representatives of 71 nationalities. This also became a world record.

Then the anthem of the Folkloriada sounded, A. Utyaganova and R. Umetbaev are the authors of it. On the main stage of the Folkloriada, its official flag was hoisted, which marked the start of the «Heart of the Folkloriada» festival's music venue. Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova and President of the International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Traditional Arts CIOFF® Philippe Bossan took part in the solemn ceremony of raising the flag.

The concert program continued in the Toratau Congress Hall amphitheater.

Let us remind you that every evening until July 10 in the amphitheater the collectives-participants of the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF®, as well as the headliners of the festival, will perform.
