The closing ceremony of the final of the IX National Championship «Young Professionals» (WorldSkills Russia - 2021) took place in Ufa.

The closing ceremony of the final of the IX National Championship «Young Professionals» (WorldSkills Russia - 2021), took place in Ufa. The event is held annually within the framework of the federal project «Young Professionals», which is part of the national project «Education».

The show has theme of unity with the Bashkir land, connection with ancestors and the strength that participants of the championship could absorb during the competition.

Sergei Kravtsov, Minister of Education of Russia, greeted the participants and guests of the event. «The development of the vocational education system is one of the key growth vectors, the engine of economic processes, and the foundation for the development of regions», Mr. Kravtsov said. «We see the results of our joint work. The number of children entering Russian colleges is growing every year. I would like to thank the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and all the organizers for this high-level event. We are confident that the WorldSkills movement in Russia will continue to develop».

Radiy Khabirov, addressing the participants of the championship, said that there were no losers among them and asked to welcome the mentors and judges who had been with the players all these days.

Further, the best professionals from all over the country, who competed in more than 105 different competencies - from carpentry and cookery to information technology and engineering design, were awarded medals.

According to the results of the team classification, the Moscow team was recognized as the absolute champion of the championship. The first place according to the results of the medal standings and taking into account the position of the region in the rating on a 700-point scale was taken by the Republic of Tatarstan. The second place was shared by the teams of the Republic of Bashkortostan and St. Petersburg. The third place was taken by the Moscow region.

The closing ceremony ended with the performance of the Dubro group and magnificent fireworks.
