TRIUMPHANTS OF TOKYO PARALYMPIC GAMES CAME BACK TO UFA

The athletes from Ufa who participated in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo came back to the capital of Bashkortostan. At the airport they were met by trainees of sports schools, coaches, relatives, friends and fans.

Russia was represented by 6 athletes from three municipal sports schools of Ufa: Elena Pautova (sports leader Grigory Andreev), Anna Kulinich-Sorokina (sports leader Sergey Petrichenko), Nikita Nagaev, Albert Kamalov, Elena Prokofieva, Dmitry Lavrov. Ufa athletes who train in the sports adaptive school of the Paralympic Reserve of the Republic of Bashkortostan performed successfully: Anna Krivshina, Ilnur Garipov, Adelina Razetdinova, Bogdan Mozgovoy.

In total, the citizens of Ufa brought 4 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals to the collection of the Russian national team. In the overall medal standings, the athletes of the Russian Paralympic Committee took fourth place.

Earlier, on September 13, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin presented state awards to the winners of the XVI Paralympic Summer Games in 2020 in Tokyo, including the athletes of the city of Ufa.
