Heroes of the Motherland honored in Victory Park

On February 23, a flower-laying ceremony was held in Ufa's Victory Park in honor of Defender of the Motherland Day. Acting Head of Ufa City Administration Ratmir Mavliev took part in this event.

Honored guests, veterans of the Armed Forces, representatives of public organizations and military-patriotic clubs, youth associations came to honor the memory of the heroes of the Motherland.

On behalf of the multinational people of Bashkortostan, the Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the immortal act of bravery of the Heroes of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin, at the foot of which the Eternal Flame burns.

The anthems of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan were played. A moment of silence was declared in memory of the fallen heroes.

Ratmir Mavliev, congratulating the residents on the Defender of the Motherland Day, wished everyone good health and a peaceful sky over their heads.
