Ratmir Mavliev became the Head of the Ufa City Administration

Deputies of the Ufa City Council elected Ratmir Mavliev as the Head of the capital Administration. This decision was made today at the extraordinary 11th meeting.

It should be noted that the decision to appoint a competition for filling the position of the Head of the Ufa City Municipal District Administration was made by the deputies at a meeting of the Council on February 16. Eight people applied to participate in the competition.

Based on the results of the first stage - verification of documents - four candidates were admitted to further participation: Azamat Galin, Ratmir Mavliev, Ildar Chanyshev and Artur Shainurov. Then an assessment of the level of knowledge of federal, republican and municipal legislation was carried out, which all applicants for the position of the Head of the Ufa Administration successfully passed.

On March 16, after the meeting of the competition commission, all four candidates were submitted to the Council for appointment.

Today, at a meeting of the City Council, they presented programs to the deputies, in which they outlined their own vision of the social-economic development of Ufa. As a result, 31 deputies supported Ratmir Mavliev’s candidacy.

In his welcoming speech, Ratmir Mavliev thanked the deputies of the Council and the participants of the meeting for their confidence and promised to make every effort to successfully complete all the tasks assigned to the city.

«I see serving the people and their interests as the defining meaning of the work of the Administration. It is the aspirations of a million Ufa residents that will be the main guideline for my work, and their comfort, well-being and safety will be my priorities as the Head of the Administration, » he summed up.

In turn, the Acting Head of the Administration of the Head of Bashkortostan, Chairman of the Competition Commission Ural Kilsenbaev thanked the deputies of the City Council on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and stressed that they had made a balanced decision.

«We must win here, on the labor front, we must not allow a decrease in incomes of the population, an increase in unemployment, the closure of enterprises, we must pay special attention to supporting small businesses, which are important to help. It is important that taxes go to the city. Ufa residents are demanding and intelligent people and are sensitive to injustice. It is important to be able to work with them, » said Ural Kilsenbaev.
