Radiy Khabirov presented the project of the Eurasian Library in Ufa

Speaking at the second forum «ART-Kurultai», the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov presented the project of the Eurasian Library to its participants. He called the project of such an educational center significant for the republic, where people who are drawn to knowledge, creative youth would gather.

The head of the region showed the presentation of the project on a big screen and explained that guests of Bashkortostan, who will enter the capital from the airport, will immediately see the building of the Eurasian Library, built in the form of a huge yurt, along with the monument to Salavat Yulaev. He emphasized that the library would not be just a place where books are stored, but a multifunctional institution for residents and guests of Bashkiria, a territory for groups of people with different interests.

«We do a lot to make life throughout the republic more comfortable - we invest in road infrastructure, improve parks and courtyards, build important, large medical and other social facilities. For the anniversary of Ufa, we have designed another interesting facility. Our Eurasian Library will become a multicultural educational center for people of all ages who are drawn to knowledge. There will be unique rare books, modern multimedia technologies, a dissertation hall connected to the bases of the Russian State Library, thematic halls, a co-working center, creative spaces and much more. The library will be a unique place in terms of architecture as well. We plan to build it in the form of a snow-white yurt on the high bank of Agidel. I am sure that the Eurasian Library will become a center of attraction for all residents of the republic, regardless of their interests. I promise - it will be great here, » said Radiy Khabirov.

Each object will have its own ambassadors for the 450th anniversary of Ufa. The head of the republic offered the founder of the Mustai Karim Foundation Alfiya Karimova, the famous opera singer Ildar Abdrazakov, the head of the Public Chamber Staff Shamil Valeev to become abmassadors of the library.
