Radiy Khabirov and Ratmir Mavliev visited a number of objects in Ufa during their working trip

On April 16, during a working trip, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, with the participation of the Head of Ufa City Administration, Ratmir Mavliev, visited industrial enterprises, landscaping facilities and sports facilities, and held an off-site meeting on the social economic development of the city.

In the Oktyabrsky district of the capital, the Head of the Republic visited the production site of the «Bashkirskiye Samotsvety» company, which specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of stone products for public spaces, various architectural objects and buildings. In particular, specialists are implementing a large-scale project of a colonnade for the monument to the Hero of Russia, Major General Minigali Shaimuratov, which will be installed on Sovetskaya Square, with a height of more than 13 meters.

It should be noted that the design of the monument was finalized at the suggestion of republican artists and sculptors, adding a colonnade on both sides of the equestrian statue. In March of this year, Radiy Khabirov examined the site of the future sculptural composition.

The co-author of the project, architect Konstantin Donguzov, explained that 24 granite 4.9 m high columns would be made for Sovetskaya Square. The stone for them was mined at the Mansurovsky deposit in the Uchalinsky district. The installation of the colonnade will begin in May this year.

Radiy Khabirov wished the builders successful work, recalling that the opening of the monument to Minigali Shaymuratov was scheduled for October 11, 2022, Republic Day.

«It's great that the entire sculptural composition from design to materials was born in Bashkortostan. The author of the monument was our famous sculptor Salavat Shcherbakov. And such a beautiful stone was brought from the northern Trans-Urals,» said the Head of the region.

Further, Radiy Khabirov got acquainted with the renovation of the entrances of the apartment building No. 30 on Richard Sorge Street in Ufa. The five-story building built in 1965 has four entrances. In 2015, at the expense of residents' contributions, the water supply and sanitation systems were already updated in it.

The Head of the republic assessed the progress of work carried out in the entrances, asked what building materials are used during the repair and what are the deadlines for its completion.

Pavel Safonov, General Director of the Regional Operator for the Overhaul of the apartment houses of the Republic, said that the total cost of work in the entrances of this house is 2.5 million rubles.

During the conversation, residents asked for assistance in the overhaul of the roof of the house. The Head of Bashkortostan instructed to plan a major overhaul of the roof this year. The façade of the house also needs updating. Radiy Khabirov instructed the Head of the Ufa City Administration to consult with the residents and find a common solution to this issue.

This year, 156 entrances to 47 apartment houses will be repaired in Ufa.
