Ufa's utility vehicle fleet continues to grow

On April 22, in Ufa, new utility vehicles were transfered to city cleaning services. It should be noted that at the beginning of this year, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, at an operational meeting, instructed to purchase additional snow removal equipment for municipalities. The reason was the situation that has developed this winter. In many respects, the reason for the untimely clearing of roads and courtyards after frequent snowfalls was the lack of municipal snow removal equipment and, as a result, numerous complaints from motorists and residents.

The Head of the Administration of the capital, Ratmir Mavliev, handed over the keys to the new vehicles.

«Today we have a great opportunity to get together. Yesterday we received 11 vehicles from Amkador, and this equipment arrived tonight - quite versatile, with the ability to use it in all seasons. In summer it will be used to wash roads, maintain our lawns, in winter it will be used to clean snow, distribute reagents, in a word, keep the city clean. First of all, I would like to thank the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, for the invaluable support that he provides to the city in terms of acquiring municipal equipment, developing transport infrastructure and, of course, building social facilities. Without his attention, it would be difficult to purchase these machines only by the municipality. I would like to appeal to the employees of housing and communal services, heads of services for improvement, heads of districts: now there is enough equipment. Thanks to new acquisitions, it is necessary to ensure high-quality cleaning of our streets so that there are as few complaints from citizens as possible. I wish drivers a trouble-free ride, trouble-free start of cars, so that all the tasks set are fulfilled,» said Ratmir Mavliev.

The purchased eight units of combined road equipment are intended for all-season maintenance of the city's road network: in the spring and summer - for washing streets, removing dust and dirt from roads and sidewalks, and in winter they are used with attachments for clearing streets of snow and distributing anti-icing materials. The cabins are equipped with electronic tablets, using which it is possible to adjust the angle of the dumps, the amount of material spread, etc.
