Radiy Khabirov invited residents and guests of Ufa to the opening of the Kashkadan park

On May 21, in the Oktyabrsky district of Ufa, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and the Head of the Ufa City Administration Ratmir Mavliev visited the Kashkadan park, where they are completing a large-scale reconstruction of public space and the city lake. It is planned to open the park on June 12, 2022 - on City Day and Russia Day.

It should be noted that the greatest number of forces required the solution of the issue of shallowing of Lake Kashkadan due to shallow depths and its flowering. To remedy the situation, the lake was completely drained, the bottom was cleared and deepened. They took out about 40 thousand trucks of silt, dirt and household waste. After that, a special clay castle was equipped at the bottom of the lake, which prevents water from leaving the lower layers of the soil.

To protect the reservoir from subsequent pollution, a storm sewer was laid along the perimeter of the lake. It will collect streams of melt and rainwater, including those coming from the private sector, and dump it into a collector on Marshal Zhukov Street.

At the first stage of improvement, engineering communications were carried out, bank slopes were formed, new trees and shrubs were planted.

The builders started the second stage of improvement at the end of 2021. Arrangement of larch piers on a metal frame is being completed on the coastline. The park also provided for four amphitheatres, five sheds for recreation areas, four pergolas with swings. The slopes of the coastline are reinforced with riprap.

66 poles will provide lighting of the road around the lake with 92 console lamps. 356 spotlights on 89 poles will illuminate walking paths. 237 luminous columns will provide the illumination of piers, passages between them and ramps. For decorative illumination of the space inside the piers, 54 LED floor and waterfowl balls are used. In the center of the lake there will be a unique light and music fountain.

To create a comfortable beach area, builders import quartz sand. Two observation towers with changing rooms will be equipped here, sun loungers will be installed.

For the convenience of visitors, the entrance to the park from the private sector was also provided. They are completing the construction of the stairs from Ozernaya Street.

The Head of Bashkortostan emphasized that Kashkadan would become one of the best parks in Russia located on a reservoir.
