Ufa signed a six-party agreement with the cities of Russia and China

The protocol of intent between the cities of Russia and China implies mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange of experience.

On June 17, the Head of Ufa City Administration, Ratmir Mavliev, signed a six-party agreement between Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Khabarovsk and the cities of the People's Republic of China Qiqihar and Guangzhou. The meeting was held in the format of videoconferencing.

Welcoming the participants of the ceremony, Ratmir Mavliev thanked for the interest shown in the development and expansion of cooperation.

«Today Ufa is an active participant in foreign economic activity and international cooperation. In recent years, a lot of work has been done to create favorable conditions for the development of close and long-term inter-municipal relations, which resulted in cooperation with 18 foreign and 14 Russian cities. I am convinced that having a great experience of cooperation, we will build mutually beneficial relations,» he noted

At the end of his speech, Ratmir Rafilovich invited colleagues to the anniversary of the city of Ufa, which will be celebrated in 2024.

The protocol of intent between the cities of Russia and China involves mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange of experience in such areas as culture, education, sports, tourism, youth policy, scientific and technological innovations, healthcare, trade, industry, etc. Another important aspect of the agreement was the stimulation of urban innovation and activity, raising the international status, improving the image of cities to achieve a higher level of social development and prosperity.
