Ufa authorities congratulate teachers on their professional holiday

On October 3, 2018 the ceremony dedicated to Teachers’ Day took place in Bashkir state opera and ballet theatre. Teachers, Heads of educational institutions, veterans of work in educational sphere, Heads of Districts of Ufa City Municipal District, deputies, representatives of unions and public organization attended the event.

The Acting Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Salavat Khusainov congratulated everyone attending that event:

“Dear teachers of preschool and school education, dear veterans of pedagogical work! We always celebrate this holiday with great fondness and gratitude to you. Your contributions to the development of our city and Republic are invaluable. Each of you imparts knowledge to young generation and represents a model of rectitude, honesty and fair solutions of life problems. I would like to say thank you to all the teachers, veterans and express appreciation for your work”- he said.

Deputy Chairman of State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan Elvira Aitkulova and First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ildar Mavletberdin also welcomed the audience.

Best members of the educational community were awarded with badges and Certificates of Merit by Ufa City Municipal District Administration and Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It was also noted that English teacher at gymnasium №3 Emma Safiullina took part in the competition “Teacher of the year-2018”. She successfully passed the first stage of competition and was among 15 other laureates.

Today 11 720 teachers work in educational institutions. This number includes over 6 000 educators in educational establishments, 4 562 teachers of preschool institutions and 797 workers of additional education.
