Ufa held gala-show of festival of national cultures of Bashkortostan

On October 8, 2018 Congress hall held final gala-concert of children's festival of national cultures of Bashkortostan “Flowers of Friendship”. This year the event was dedicated to the 28th anniversary of adoption of The Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Republic of Bashkortostan and to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Annual festival “Flowers of Friendship” is a cultural event which central goals are to discover gifted kids and to create conditions to save and revive national, spiritual and culture heritage of the Republic’s ethnic groups. Festival has been held since 2008 and organized by Education Department of Ufa City Municipal District Administration.

About 1,5 thousand children from more than 100 creative teams of educational institutions, music and Sunday schools, preschool and school educational institutions.

The Deputy Head of Ufa City Municipal District Administration Sintymir Bayazitov, the Chairwoman of the Civic Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan Olga Panchikhina and the Deputy Chairwoman Galiya Mukhamedyanova, the Chairman of Standing Commission of Ufa City Municipal District Council of science, education, youth policy and sport Anatoliy Goryachev, the head of City Education Department Elena Khaffazova greeted participants and their teachers.

“Our city with over a million people and more than hundred different nationalities is unique. We managed to preserve Ufa people’s identities as well as promote spiritual values saved up by previous generations. It’s a great deal of credit of capital’s public interest organizations and educational institutions’ marked Sintymir Bayazitov. “Festival “Flowers of Friendship” develops capital’s multinational culture for more than 10 years.  It represents piece and accord of national unity."

The “Flowers of Friendship” concert program included 47 children creative teams of educational institutions which were divided on thematic parts: Bashkortostan, Peoples' Friendship, Foreign culture, childhood, modern art. Best creative teams performed in vocal, instrumental, dance and poetry spheres.

Before the concert the show “Music Alley” was placed in Congress Hall’s lobby. The winners of the Festival:  Bashkir folk band “Ataysal”, folk music group “Kaleydoskop”, orf-instruments group “Veseliye notki”, band of guitar players “Vdokhnoveniye” delighted guests with their performances. Decorative applied art exhibition “Family traditions in Bashkortostan” dedicated to Family Year also took place on that event.  The exhibition presented 8 exposition reflecting cultures of peoples who live in Bashkortostan: Bashkir, Russian, Tatar, Ukrainian, Armenian, Chuvash, Pole and German. The guest of the Festival national artist of Bashkortostan Alfiya Yulchurina sang a song “My land”.

Grand prix was handed to the dance ensemble “Veselinka” of Ufa State Children creative activity center. Creative team “Goroshinki” presented Gymnasium №16 took the 1st place.

Laureates of the Festival were awarded by diplomas of City Education Department and valuable prizes.
