Recently, the Federation Council held VI Conference of Russian Public Organization “National local government board” under the authority of the Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko.

Within the frames of the event Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko awarded finalists and winners of the national competition “Best Municipal Practice”. Chairman of Ufa City Council Valeriy Trofimov got the first place diploma for the win of the city in “Urban development” category.

“During last 5 years 2 bln rubles was spend on venues of public space renovation. Our municipal practice won on strategy of “City in the park”. I think it is an achievement of citizens and authorities. Citizens voted for the city. Thanks to all of you. After awarding, the Government of Russia recommended regions to insert this practice on their territory” commented Valeriy Trofimov.

It should be reminded that this competition was founded in 2017. This year prize value was 40 mln rubles.
