Ulfat Mustafin led first meeting of Urban Council

On February 14, Main Department for Architecture and Urban Development of Ufa city held first Urban Council led by the Head of Administration Ulfat Mustafin.

Chief Ufa City Council Valeriy Trofimov, Deputies Heads of Ufa Administration, representatives of districts Administrations, engineers and customers took part in the event.

«This is our first Urban Council. We revive initiative to hold such meetings on a regular basis. It is great that all participants are concerned and discuss topical issues» emphasized Ulfat Mustafin.

Several projects were presented including the project of planning and demarcation of area to the North of Nagaevo, Zinino villages of Oktyabrsky district and neighborhood in Kirovsky district and, also, the project of planning and demarcation of area in Oktyabrsky district.

Client representative Yuriy Simakovich presented the projects of Zinino and Nagaevo development. According to these projects it is planned to build about 6 thousand cottages. During the presentation, issues on utilities systems fitting were also discussed.

«We tended to consider all pain points that can occur during the property development, such as provision of kindergartens, clinics and transportation utility services. We all are citizens, irrespective to the district we live in» said Oleg Baidin.

During the meeting Ulfat Mustafin marked the necessity of provision of social venues nearby the houses. It is possible to use municipal-private partnership, if it will be necessary.

«The way of permitted use of the area should be fixed to avoid changes in functional profile of lots. The land for social venues should remain the same. The quality and the level of living should be alike in the center of the city. These are aims we have today» said the Head of Ufa Administration.

In addition, Ulfat Mustafin emphasized that young residents of this residential blocks should have an opportunity to attend sports clubs going not far from the block. During the meeting he entrusted these errands to mandate chiefs of municipal departments and heads of districts administrations.
