City competition of young musicians was held in Ufa

Ufa held City competition of young musicians within the frames of art-project «Young Talents-2019» dedicated to 100th anniversary of Bashkiria. Students of city children's music schools and art schools took part in it.

The competition, founded by the Department of culture and art of Ufa Administration, was held to find talented children, develop their creativity, as well as find best music leaders and improve their professional skills.

More than 600 young musicians from 7 to 17 years attended the competition including people with disabilities.

The winners were chosen by a competent jury, which included honored workers and artists of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa schools’ teachers of arts and special music College, in 6 categories: "Kurai", "Dumbira, Kil-kubyz", "accordion", "Domra, balalaika, guitar", "folk instruments", "stringed instruments", "wind and percussion instruments", "young pianists" and "young vocalists".

The winners will take part in the all-Russian Art project "Young talents – 2019", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
