Ufa citizens chose names for bear cubs

Last week, the Head of Ufa Administration asked Ufa citizens to create names for new born bear cubs in enclosure of «Gorzelenkhoz». Citizens sent their options to official groups of Ufa Administration in social nets. Totally, 100 names were proposed.

Names Marta and Umka are most popular.

Now, bear cubs are 3 months old. They are in a special room with a heat gun – «manger», where they can feel comfortable. Bears have a good appetite, they are fed with milk every two hours. Then their food will be supplemented with cereals.

Averagely, every year, 4-5 bear cubs are born in enclosure of «Gorzelenkhoz». Ufa bears are popular - they are taken to zoos and circus all over the country. This situation can be explained by the fact that these bears are born in captivity within 3 generations and got used to people.
