Municipality held an event dedicated to 100th anniversary of Bashkortostan

On March 28, City Palace of Culture held and event dedicated to 100th anniversary of Bashkortostan.

Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bashkortostan Lenara Ivanova, member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irek Yalalov, first Deputy head of Ufa Administration Salavat Khusainov, social workers, representatives of public organizations attended the event.

«We are proud of our Republic, its achievements in development of economics, agriculture, social and healthcare spheres. Bashkiria is famous for its cultural traditions. We highly appreciate our world-famous countrymen» said Lenara Ivanova.

Member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irek Yalalov noted that over the past 100 years the Republic has passed through difficult stages of development and formation. This path was not easy, but residents of Bashkortostan have passed all the tests and achieved great results in many areas.

«A unique feature of our region is that the Republic has managed to make a breakthrough in the agricultural sector and industry. We can call our  Republic a strong point of Russia» said Irek Yalalov.

Welcoming guests of the event, first Deputy head of Ufa Administration Salavat Khusainov marked that the high economic performance, strong social policy, stability of the socio-political situation and interethnic harmony, which defines the Republic – is a demonstration of the high achievements of the region.

«Today, the municipality is implementing a number of major federal projects aimed to improve urban environment, create safe and high-quality roads. Local areas are being settled, there are new squares, playgrounds and sports fields. At the same time, all work is carried out considering opinions of residents and under their control» added Salavat Khusainov.

As part of the concert, 10 Ufa citizens were awarded with medals «100 years of formation of the Republic of Bashkortostan».

Soloists and creative teams of the City Palace of Culture, City cultural and leisure center, folk song and dance team «Miras», Ufa children's Philharmonic and dance team of Ufa state oil technical University, as well as artists of the Republic and city performed on the stage with their best shows.

It should be noted that on this day the photo exhibition «Ufa – pages of history» was held in the hall organized by the Ufa workshop of art photography «Visual».
