Spring is coming! Ufa celebrated Navruz holiday.

On March 31, agro-park «Eurasia» gathered multinational people to congratulate each other with Navruz holiday. Since the earliest times, people go out on a visit, invite friends, tables are full of dishes – everyone celebrates the holiday of the spring beginning.

10 national tents were installed in the city- Bashkirs, Tajiks, Uzbeks, Kyrgyz, Turkmens, Azerbaijanis, Dagestanis, and others. Each representatives cooked their special pilaf.

Also, organizers held first championship on cooking pilaf in different nominations.

In addition, guests of the festival were able to see a master class on the preparation for the national Uzbek dish «sumalak». The main ingredient of the dish is sprouted wheat grains. As the guests noted, sumalak has been prepared from ancient times before sowing, so to make the harvest rich.
Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government– Minister of agriculture of the Republic Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Assembly of peoples of the Republic Zugura Rakhmatullina, the Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Zarif Baiguskarov, Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in the city of Ufa Ayrat Khabirov, head of the Department of the Embassy of the Republic in the Russian Federation in Ufa Petr Baltrukovich, Deputy head of Ufa Administration  Alina Suleymanova came to congratulate citizens on this day.

«Today we celebrate a special day- Navruz holiday. Historically, representatives of more than 100 nationalities live in the capital of Bashkortostan - Ufa. These are people who manifests different religions. Those who came before us lived in goodness, peace, harmony and mutual understanding. These traditions are passed from generation to generation, to us, our children and, we hope, will pass to our grandsons and great-grandchildren» noted Alina Suleymanova welcoming participants and guests.  «We heartily congratulate you on this wonderful day! Let your deeds be good and your thoughts pure».
After congratulations of the guests, the holiday continued with bright concert shows of the peoples of the world, one of which was the folk ensemble of the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Tashkent. The ensemble impressed all the spectators with its skillful playing on national instruments.
