On May, 9 many events were held in Ufa dedicated to 74th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War 1941-19455.

The high point of the Victory Day in Ufa was evening firework which was attended by the Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov with his wife Karine Khabirova, Head of Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin, Heads of Federal, Republican and municipal authorities, ministries and departments.

In total, 11 thousand Ufa residents and guests of the capital watched the fireworks.

On this day on Prospekt Oktyabra av. in Ufa for the first time in many years, an unprecedented scale festive parade with participation of military equipment, military units of the Ufa territorial garrison, institutions of law enforcement agencies stationed in Ufa, cadets of educational institutions. The parade was headed by Kerim Idrissov and Sergey Porokhnya reviewed the parade.

Concert programs for citizens and guests of the city were held in all palaces and district halls of culture.

The main Central platform of the ceremonial and festive events was the square named after Lenin. During the day, concert programs of amateur and professional groups of the capital dedicated to the victory Day were held there.
