Press conference on 53rd International Children’s Games was held in Ufa

On July 9, in the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a press conference was held on the occasion of the 53rd  International Children's Games.

Torsten Rush, President of the International Children's Games, Ruslan Khabibov, Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Head of Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin,  his deputy Rustem Gazizov, and Ambassador of Football for Friendship Anany Cambodia took part in the event.

The participants of the meeting noted that Ufa is fully prepared for an international sports tournament.

«Ufa had a successful experience in conducting the VI Winter International Children's Games in 2013. I am sure that the Summer Games will be held at a high level. I express my gratitude to Ufa Administration, the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of Bashkiria for the work done in preparing for the Games» said the president of the International Children's Games Torsten Rusch.

In turn, Ulfat Mustafin added that preparation process for the Games is a huge work on the improvement of the city, the construction and reconstruction of sports facilities.

«It is important that after the International Children's Games, all of them will be actively used, both by the citizens and within sporting tournaments» the head of the Ufa Administration marked.

One of the main events of the Games will be the match within the project «Football for friendship». The structure of the International Friendship Team will include members of the International Children's Games from around the world.
