The main New Year tree was installed in Ufa

On the night of November 21, the main capital’s tree was installed on Lenin Square in Ufa. The workers of MUE "Gorzelenkhoz" brought and installed the “forest beauty” from the Blagoveshchensky district of the republic.

By tradition, the guest from the forest was met at the entrance to the city by 14 Father Frosts and Snow Maidens - representatives of all seven districts of Ufa. Together they appreciated its beauty, splendor, height and gave their "permission" to enter the city. Then, accompanied by a string of traffic police cars, the tree walked along the city highways to its place of honour on Lenin Square, where it was given a performance with songs and round dances in its honor.

Zabir Safin, the Deputy head of MUE “Gorzelenkhoz” has informed that the fir tree was chosen a month and a half  ago, its height is about 30 meters, and the age is over 90 years. In the nearest time after installation, the fir tree will be decorated, and the ice-town will be built .

It should be noted that in preparation for the celebration of the New Year 2020 in Ufa it is planned to arrange 19 playgrounds with ice towns and New Year trees.

Including, three capital trees - on the Lenin Square, on the Salavat Yulaev Square near the Congress Hall , and on the Soviet Square.

In addition, citizens and guests of the city will be able to spend their free time and have an outing with their children at the playgrounds in different districts.

New Year trees will also be installed in front of major shopping centers. Traditionally, ice towns, ice playgrounds and hockey boxes will joy the residents of the city in the backyard areas.
