Ufa showed a list of streets which will be repaired in 2020 as part of the national project "Safe and high-quality roads"

One of the important task of the municipality today is the establishment of modern, convenient and safe transport infrastructure. Every year the number of repaired roads in the capital of Bashkortostan is increasing while the number of road traffic accidents is decreasing. This is all the part of the national project "Safe and quality roads".

This year 28 sections of the street and road network with the length of more than 47 kilometers have been repaired in Ufa. Implementation of the national project will continue in 2020, it is planned to repair 22 sections of roads. One of the important and large object is Ufa-Nagaevo highway on a section from Borodinskaya street up to highway M-5 "Ural". Repair works will take two years (2020-2021). The list of objects includes such streets as Ak. Koroleva, Vetoshnikova, Krasina, Levitana, Mazhita Gafuri, Novozhenova, Nehaev. The full list can be found here .

In addition to the large-scale restoration of roads, the national project also plans a set of measures to improve traffic control devices, which will improve road safety. In particular, it is planned to install the variety of ATCS (Automated Traffic Control System), pedestrian fences with the length of 1,200 running meters and the installation of traffic lights in five sections - the crossroad of Pervomayskaya and Mayakovskaya streets, Tramvaynaya and Adm.Makarova streets, Aksakova and Sverdlova streets, Rossiyskaya and Severnaya streets, as well as on Mazhita Gafuri street.

Next year the reconstruction of three objects will be continued - the bridge crossing over the Belya River in the alignment of Vorovskaya street (2019-2021), Komsomolskaya street and  8 Marta street (2019-2021), as well as the construction of Valeriy Lesunova street and Bul’var Balandin (2019-2020).

Five objects are planned to repair: the roadway pavement – Bul’var Ibragimova (2020-2021) and Khadiya Davletshina streets (2020-2021), Mustay Karima street (2019-2020), Shafieva street, Parkovaya street (2020-2021), Goroda Galle from Prospect Oktyabrya up to Komsomolskaya street (2020-2021)

The implementation of the national project "Safe and high-quality roads" will be carried out until 2024. Road workers will have to solve large-scale tasks to create modern, convenient and safe transport infrastructure.
