On November 28, Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Ruslan Mirsayapov, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Foreign Economic Relations, visited the Museum of the History of Ufa.

The director of the Museum of the History of Ufa Timur Ilyasov conducted for them a sightseeing tour of the four halls.

During the tour, guests were told about modern Ufa and its history. The museum consists of four exhibition halls, in which four historical blocks are represented. The museum fund has more than one thousand exhibits, and almost two thousand objects dedicated to the history of Ufa are in temporary storage.

Timur Ilyasov said that the museum has a number of unique objects. In particular, the handwritten Koran of the eighteenth century, a bullet brought from the Borodino field, the program of 1886, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the city of Ufa and much more.

At the end of the meeting, Mikhail Bogdanov shared his impressions of the tour.

«A very interesting museum and we got an informative tour. I am very grateful to the direction of the museum. The museum is modern and gives a complete impression of the history of the city, how it has been developing since ancient times and shows the level of modern socio-economic development of Ufa. This is the story of our entire country and the Bashkir people. Ufa is an interesting and distinctive city. This is my first time here, but I really liked it,» he said.
