The main capital Christmas trees were unveiled in Ufa

On December 9, in Ufa, the unveiling of the main Christmas trees took place - on Lenin Square, Salavat Yulaev Square near the Toratau Congress Hall and on Sovetskaya Square.

The first Deputy Head of Ufa Administration, Salavat Khusainov, took part in the opening ceremony of the New Year tree on Lenin Square. Congratulating the residents, he noted that ice towns and New Year’s illumination create the festive mood for Ufa residents and guests of the city, among other things.

A feature of the design of the central capital ice sites this year is the use of light structures and architectural illumination. Ufa residents and guests of the city will be able to admire the New Year lighting installations of the world-famous Italian architect of light and artist Valerio Festi, whose works decorated Paris, Istanbul, Moscow and other cities.

Another innovation was an artificial pixel spruce 32 meters high on the square next to the Toratau Congress Hall. Its advantage is multimedia - the ability to display any images, text, including sound.

The Lenin Square and Sovetskaya Square are decorated with live spruce trees, both from the Blagoveshchensk district of the republic, about 30 meters high and of respectable age, over 90 years old. It should be noted, that the last time the New Year tree was installed on Sovetskaya Square in 2011. This tradition was decided to renew.
