In Ufa, the construction of a new road bridge across the Belaya River in the alignment of Vorovskogo Street continues

In the capital of Bashkortostan, construction of a new bridge across the Belaya River is ongoing in the alignment of Vorovskogo Street, the construction of which began in July last year as part of the national project «Safe and High-Quality Roads». Bridge builders plan to complete work at the end of 2021. After putting it into operation, it will allow to unload the southern entrance to the city and exit from it. Since currently operating bridges providing access to the Orenburg Highway and the federal highway M-5 Ural are overloaded during peak hours. Today, more than 125 thousand cars pass through two bridges a day and the limit coefficient is exceeded by 30 percent.

A new 688-metre bridge structure will appear between existing «new» and «old» bridges for three lanes. A one-way movement towards Orenburg will be organized on it.

According to the customer representatives, during the construction of the new bridge-insert residents and guests of the capital of the republic will not have any difficulties, as the construction provides for the preservation of traffic on existing bridges and approaches without significant restriction.

According to bridge builders, only modern regulations and technologies are used in the work, which allows to carry out works continuously regardless of weather conditions.

After completion of the work, it is planned to switch traffic to the newly built bridge. Entry into the city will be carried out on the bridge of 1991 construction and exit on the new bridge-insert. The old 1956 arch bridge will be closed for reconstruction to strengthen the supports and replace the span structures.
