New head gas control station «Nizhegorodka» commissioned in Ufa

On January 23, the Head of Ufa Administration Ulfat Mustafin and Deputy General Director of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC Yuri Pakhomovsky visited the new head gas control station «Nizhegorodka».

The existing gas control station located in Ufa on Nekhayeva Street was built in 1971. The decision to build a new facility was made due to equipment wear and tear.

Today, specialists of PJSC Gazprom Gas Distribution Ufa, inserted the gas control station into gas networks without interrupting gas supply to consumers. The new facility will improve the reliability of gas supply to more than 100 thousand consumers of Nizhegorodka, Zelenaya Roscha and Kuznetsovsky Zaton microdistricts.

Ulfat Mustafin noted that Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC is constantly working on the modernization of existing and construction of new production facilities.

«Today is a significant event that we were waiting for. The facility has been commissioned. The new gas control point will ensure the supply of natural gas to household enterprises and the population of the southern part of the city. Its capacity allows the city to develop - to build new industrial, social facilities and housing,» said the head of Ufa Administration.

In turn, Yuri Pakhomovsky stressed that many industrial facilities are put into operation on the territory of the republic.

«The Republic of Bashkortostan is developing very dynamically. We try to help in this regard. This facility allows to provide gas to a large area. I believe that very good interaction of the republic with Gazprom structures has been established,» he said.

A telemetry system has been installed at the new gas control stationt, which allows the facility to be operated in automatic mode, without the constant attendance of staff.
