The International Festival of Traditional Culture - VI World Folkloriada is postponed to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov at a meeting with the chief editors of the leading media.

The International Festival of Traditional Culture - VI World Folkloriada is postponed to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. This was announced by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radii Khabirov at a meeting with the chief editors of the leading media.

Today, the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan received an official proposal to postpone the event to the following year from the international organization CIOFF.

«It is postponed to the next year, although it was supposed to take place at the end of July. It is impossible to tune in that a coronavirus will pass in a month. It will take more time,» said Radii Khabirov.

The VI World Folkloriada was to be held from July 18 to August 1, 2020. About 80 countries of the world were declared participants of the festival.
