Works on preparation of Victory Park for the day of celebration of 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War are completed

City services are completing preparations for Victory Park to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In particular, the facing of two steles and the adjustment of the operating modes of the LED composition «Star» at the entrance to the park are coming to an end.

«The height of the entrance group in the form of a star is 18 meters; the total mass of the structure is 10 tons, lined with composite panels in which LEDs with a pitch of 70 mm are installed. The total number of LEDs is 70 thousand. LEDs are controlled by the controllers with a program that sets the dynamic effects, » said the head of the contracting organization Andrei Sidorkin.

The entrance group is installed on a monolithic foundation. The volume of each part of the foundation is approximately 20 cubic meters. The total mass amounts to almost 100 tons underground, which ensures the stability and safety of the structure.

In addition, in Victory Park, flowers were planted and landscape compositions arranged, 4 km of pedestrian paths were laid out with paving stones, two large paths were paved across the entire park, steles were installed for the memorial to Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of Russia. Thus, the names of 297 Heroes of the Soviet Union, 14 Heroes of Russia and 47 full holders of the Orders of Glory - natives and residents of Bashkortostan - will be listed in this Memorial complex.
