Ufa athletes and coaches were awarded certificates of honor

On August 18, the Day of Physical Culturist, the ceremony of awarding certificates of honor and letters of gratitude to workers of physical culture and sports, took place at the sports school №32.

On their professional holiday, the guests of the event were congratulated by the Deputy Head of Ufa City Administration Rustem Gazizov, acting Head of the City Department for Physical Culture and Sports Yegor Sorokin; Deputy Head of the Administration of the Oktyabrsky District of the capital Alyona Odintsova.

According to Rustem Gazizov, significant sporting events, large mass competitions are traditionally held on the Day of Physical Culturist. However, this year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, events were held in a limited format. He stressed that athletes and coaches have successfully coped with the challenge of the new time - immediately after the restrictions were introduced, distance work was organized in all sports schools, thanks to which it was possible to ensure a continuous training process throughout the entire period of self-isolation.

«Despite the limitations, Ufa is still the most athletic city with the best coaches, athletes, and physical culture workers. I wish that our athletes and those who raise them will always achieve the pedestals of all-Russian and international competitions,» said Rustem Gazizov. 

The directors and deputies of sports schools, coaches, athletes, as well as specialists of the city department for physical culture and sports were awarded with certificates of honor and letters of gratitude from Ufa City Administration.
