The #MaskToHelp campaign was held in Ufa

On October 21, the #MaskToHelp campaign was held in all districts of Ufa. Volunteers reminded residents of the need to follow the mask regime in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection and distributed disposable masks.

«The twin city of Ufa, Nanchang, with which the capital of Bashkortostan has long-standing friendly relations, has organized a free supply of disposable medical masks to Ufa. Personal protective equipment in the amount of 20 thousand pieces was distributed today to residents of Ufa at public transport stops, in parks and squares of the city. The volunteers reminded the residents of Ufa of the need to comply with the mask regime.» said Roman Yangurov, Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee of Ufa City Administration.

It is worth noting that city residents are generally sympathetic to the situation and thank the volunteers for their help.

«Wearing a mask has already become a habit. We do not refuse the help of volunteers and free masks. Such actions are needed, because many people still walk without masks in public places.» said Lilia Tukhvatullina from Ufa.

It should be noted that the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, made changes to the decree on high alert in connection with the threat of the spread of coronavirus. According to the decree, residents are required to wear masks outside of their place of residence, and in stores, banks and the MFC, they must also use gloves, and everywhere keep a social distance of at least 1.5 m, with the exception of being in a taxi. In addition, it is recommended to refrain from traveling outside the Russian Federation and to other regions unfavorable for COVID-2019, visiting any public events, places of mass gathering of people.
