Dear veterans and home front workers! Ufa residents and guests of the city!

The 9th of May - Great Victory Day – the day we always celebrate with great enthusiasm and pride. The memory of those events, the brutal struggle for freedom, even after 76 years unites different generations of people, makes us invincible in the face of any trials.

This holiday is especially close and dear for our city. The townspeople know and remember well that Ufa is one of the workers-cities, where the Victory was forged during the Great Patriotic War. In 2020, a significant event took place - the capital of Bashkortostan was awarded the honorary title «City of Labor Valor».

We are deeply grateful to the front-line soldiers, victorious soldiers and home front workers. We are happy today to see them and to be able to communicate with them.

For many years the veteran movement of our city has been a leading force in the patriotic education of young Ufa residents. We are grateful to you, dear veterans, for the fact that you are worried about the fate of future generations, worried about the future of our city, republic and country. I sincerely thank you on behalf of all residents of Ufa and express my deep personal gratitude and respect!
