This year, 22,300 cycling enthusiasts took part in it. The 9-kilometer route was laid along the central streets of the city.

On the square named after V.I. Lenin, where the launch site was organized, the Head of Ufa City Administration Sergei Grekov and the Head of the executive committee of the regional branch of the «United Russia» party Rustem Akhmadinurov greeted the festival participants.

«This year in the republic has been declared the Year of Health and Active Longevity. Therefore, I am especially glad to see that such a wonderful festival brings together whole families, people of all ages. Our cycling community is growing and we will continue to create comfortable conditions for cyclists, » - said Sergei Grekov.

Having passed the route of the bike ride, the participants finished at Salavat Yulaev Square. Various points of activity have been organized here. Everyone could also refresh themselves at the Ash Market food festival, take part in a dance master class, costume competition, environmental campaign and other activities.

The Regional Youth Public Organization «Union of Cyclists of the Republic of Bashkortostan» with the support of the Administration of Ufa organized the festival.

Festival «Day of 1000 Cyclists» in Ufa brought together more than 22 thousand cycling enthusiasts
