On July 4, one of the most spectacular events took place in the capital of the republic - a large-scale fancy-dress parade of the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF® participants. Representatives of 37 countries who arrived at the cultural festival attended the parade.

The parade started from the square in front of the Mazhit Gafuri Bashkir State Academic Drama Theater. On the stage in front of the theater, creative teams of the city and the republic presented their bright performances.

At the head of the parade was a banner signifying that the parade was taking place in honor of the VI World Folkloriada CIOFF®. Children of the Faizi Gaskarov State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble performed at the beginning of the procession in different ethnic garbs. Following them, the soloists of the state ensemble named after. Representatives of 37 countries who arrived at the festival followed in their traditional costumes.

The «Venzel» Choreographic Ensemble, representing Russia, as well as the directors of the Regional Folk Art Centers, closed the rear. Everyone interested could join the festive procession. Then the stream of participants in traditional costumes descended into the Congress Hall amphitheater, where the celebration continued.
