Adelina Zagidullina is a citizen of Ufa. She wins gold at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo as part of the Russian women's foil fencing team, together with Marta Martyanova, Inna Deriglazova and Larisa Korobeinikova.

The athletes fought for the first place with the French team, defeating the Americans in the semifinals. During the final meeting, Russians were confidently leading and won with a score of 45:34. The foil fencers from Italy won Olympics bronze beating the American women with a score of 45:23.

Adelina was born on January 13, 1993 in the capital of Bashkortostan. She began to practice fencing in the Ufa Sports School № 23. She graduated from the republican boarding school of sports profile №5. Olga Shagaeva was the first coach of the young foil fencer. Since 2011, he has been playing for the Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Fencing of Ufa. She began her professional sports career on December 24, 2012 with participation in the All-Russian Championship held in the city of Novogorsk, where she took third place at the end of the tournament. Subsequently, she competed in tournaments of various levels.

Athlete has been playing for the main roster of the Russian national team since 2015, she is a two-time world champion (2016, 2019) and Europe (2016, 2019) in the team championship, winner and bronze medalist of the I European Games, Honored Master of Sports of Russia.
