NEW MUSICAL FOUNTAIN AT SOVETSKAYA SQUARE

On September 1, musical fountain was solemnly launched in Ufa, at Sovetskaya Square. Before that, the guests of the holiday were presented with a theatrical program.

The reconstruction of Sovetskaya Square began last summer. The territory was expanded by six meters. The roadbed was completely renovated, storm sewers were equipped, sidewalks were enlarged, an outdoor lighting system with fluorescent lamps was installed, benches were placed. New trees, chosen by citizens, were planted. There are decorative maple, mountain ash, lilac bushes and others. A public garden «Students» in front of the Miftakhetdin Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University and a square in front of the Nariman Sabitov Children's Music School No. 1 were constructed. In addition, a monument to the Hero of Russia, the commander of the legendary 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, Minigali Shaimuratov, will be installed at Sovetskaya Square.

On weekends, it is planned to restrict traffic on the section from Pushkin Street to October Revolution Street. Thus, Sovetskaya Square and the adjacent territory can become a pedestrian zone.
