Due to the upcoming anniversary - the 450th anniversary of the capital of Bashkortostan - large socially significant projects are being implemented, and great attention is paid to the improvement of parks and public spaces.

However, in addition to point projects, it is necessary to develop the infrastructure of the city – such as pedestrian and bicycle links between city’s objects. In this regard, the Administration of Ufa, together with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Institute for Strategic Studies of the Republic of Bashkortostan, organized a survey aimed at identifying the opinion of city residents on the priorities of urban infrastructure development.
