Ufa hosts Ecological Forum

On April 12, the Ecological Forum began its work at the Ufa exhibition complex «VDNKh-Expo». Within its framework, an exhibition of children's projects of modern urban space «Young Urban Ecologist» is being held. Institutions of additional education in the natural sciences of Ufa presented layouts of landscape design. In total at the exhibition «Ecology. Creation. Children» more than 20 children's projects are presented.

The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and the Head of the Administration of Ufa Ratmir Mavliev visited the exposition. The Head of the region highly appreciated the children's projects. In his interview to School TV, he noted that several ideas will be used in the near future in the development of park areas in the city of Ufa and the republic.

The exhibition was organized in order to increase the activity and involvement of students in the study of urban ecosystems, the development of the urban environment based on an ecological approach and the principles of modern urbanism, and the development of skills in designing urban infrastructure facilities based on environmental technologies.

The ecological forum will continue to work until April 14.
